At a school today and saw these interesting seed pods on this tree and of course the colourful Autumn leaves got my attention.

Day 115 Bottlebrush

This photo was a bit of an accident. I was trying to take one of the sunset but I liked this one better, as it caught the bottlebrush tree, the hills and the sea in the background, it was a little bit dark, so I played with the lighting a bit!

We went to a 'Bollywood at the Trots' night at Alexandra Park in Auckland. One particular friend of ours was wearing the most beautiful sari (she won the 'Best Dressed' of the night). The intricate work on the whole outfit was amazing.

Day 95 'Easter Monday Villa Maria'

Villa Maria is one of the most awarded vineyards in New Zealand. As well as having wonderful wines it has a great antipasto and cheeseboard platter on their restaurant menu. Perfect for a warm Autumn's day.

Day 94 Harvested Maize

As we were driving home from Whitianga we saw a few acres of harvested maize. The colour of the maize reflected the dryness of the landscape behind it.

Day 93 Toitois on the side of the road

We are on a road trip to Matarangi in the Coromandel and you see toitois (toetoe) all along the coastline.

Day 92 Reflection

I was captivated by the reflection of the clouds in the water. I took this photo around 4 pm this afternoon at Kawakawa Bay.

Day 91 Autumn leaves taste good

I must have taken about 50 photos of my cousin's daughter inside and outside. Kids outside take the best photos. Here you can see her interacting with nature. My favourite one is the 'Classic' lets eat everything we pick up!
