Day 205 Communication and WWW

I was at Summerland School today attending the EducampNZ unconference. What a great 'informal' event and in an inspiring setting. I noticed several paintings on corrugated iron and this was my favourite!

Day 204 World Wide Web

I saw this at Sunnynook School today. It represents the internet. The computer looks exactly like my first Mac Classic that I bought in 1992! And I still have it!

Day 193 Pot Luck Dinner

I went to dinner at a friends place tonight and one of the dishes was 'Glaswegian Curry'. Apparently there is such a thing as a Scottish 'Indian' Curry. It was scrumptious (I want the recipe Jane!)

Vegetarian Indian

I was working at a school today (first day of the school holidays and teachers are back at work!). They took me out for a 'curry' at their local 'Indian'! It was awesome. I can't remember what this dish was called but the English meaning was 'Little Lunch'!

Day 183 Contemplating the future

A very good friend of mine is an amazing professional photographer and took a wonderful portrait study of my daughter when she was 16. I used that photo as the motivation for this painting a few years later.

Day 182 Wall Mural

I saw this gorgeous wall mural at Willowbank School today. I particularly liked how the plantings complemented and framed the painting.
