Day 211/365 I jinx the mountain
Driving to New Plymouth, stunning day, cloudless blue skies all the way until one hour out of New Plymouth. Then we see the tip of the mountain. The rest of it is in cloud. This is the eighth trip we have made down here and the first time we have seen any evidence of Mount Taranaki this far out. The closer we get, the heavier the cloud. We arrive in New Plymouth and the mountain is hidden from us, yet again.
