Day 237/365 PBL Positive Behaviour for Learning at Papakura Normal School

Students receive tokens for good behaviour and post them in their 'House'. They wait until the houses are full to the brim and then the reward is given to all the kids in that house e.g. mufti day; milo day; wheels day (roller blades/scooters etc) etc. Every house gets the same reward once their house is full, then the gold tokens start again. The gold tokens are those given both in the classroom and in the playground.

It is where students can sell their vegetables, baking etc, fundraising for charity. The PTFA use it for school events. It was constructed and donated by one of their parents.
